Lannawill

My name is Lannawill Caruth but I prefer to be called Lanna. I’m 15 years old and I’m a junior at Pelham Lab High School. I was born and raised in the Bronx by two Vincentian parents. I have 6 siblings 2 of which I am very close with. I am a practicing Seventh-Day Adventist Christian this means I go to church on Saturdays. I am passionate about social justice issues and helping people.  After high school I plan to attend Stanford University where I want to study biomedical engineering and political science. After graduating I want to work in Research and Development for a little bit. Then I want to use the knowledge I gained to start my own R&D company.  Right now, I’m very focused on school and extracurriculars. I am a cheerleader, President of Student Council, Vice President of National Honor Society, President of the Pelham Lab Girl Up. Many of my passions come from a desire to help developing nations, as my parents are from a developing nation.
